Nothing But Delay

Senator Sotto once again diverts attention from the content of the RH Bill to supporters of the bill like Likhaan. At the Senate interpellation today (September 20, 2011), he showed a snippet of me in a video and Likhaan’s project proposal to UNFPA. His accusation: that Likhaan does abortion at the instigation of UNFPA.

As for me, I stand by what I said. As a medical doctor trained to heal, I am deeply disturbed that women having abortions are made to suffer so much pain and endangerment when the interventions that could help them—whether preventive or therapeutic—are within reach.
